She/her
Sharleen is a 2016 graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Prior to her start into massage therapy, she is a graduate from Stenberg College, 2005 having completed the Hospital Support Specialist program. Sharleen has spent 9 years working at both Vancouver Coastal Health & Fraser Health Authority in various fields, such as, Medical Office Assistant, Emergency Admitting, Radiology & Diagnostic Imaging Support, while spending the majority of her career in Staffing Services.Sharleen always had a fascination with the body and it’s complexities, it was through seeking treatment from a RMT of her own, that made her realize the positive impact that Massage Therapy can have, thus, began her journey to help facilitate the healing process of others going forward. Some of the techniques that she likes to use include but are not limited to Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Hydrotherapy, Joint Mobilization, Deep Tissue & Swedish, PNF Stretching & more.Health care has always been a great passion for her, Sharleen strives to maintain comfort, trust, safe & patient-centered treatment and will personalize each treatment plan to the specific individual & their goals. She has experience in treating a wide array of conditions such as, Cerebral Palsy, Burn & Trauma Survivors, Performance Athletes, Corporate Employees & Geriatric Community, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s, and patients with Terminal Illnesses.Fluent in English, Hindi & Punjabi, with a working knowledge French & Spanish, Sharleen enjoys travelling and experiencing new & exotic cuisines of the world. You can often find her gardening, or playing outdoors with her 2 dogs.
